    Bowlers to Veterans Link

    Friday, June 29, 2007, 02:32 PM [General]

We ran our first BVL (Bowlers to Veterans Link) Tournament and raised $2000.00 once all the donations are received we will be able to send 4 portable bowling lanes to our active duty service men and women.
This is a great cause to raise money for, this is non political and serves the people that protect our country and we bowl with.
We will be having more of these tournaments and also a texas hold'em tournament to help raise more money. If anyone is interested in learning more about the BVL or just wanna have some fun bowling and helping raise money just let me know.

    Bowling Integrity

    Wednesday, May 23, 2007, 02:01 PM [General]

    OK let the controversy start!

I went to the USBC national meeting this year in Nashville Tennessee and came out as a not so happy camper.
They talked about no longer awarding the achievement and only awarding the accomplishment, they are no longer going to be a service organization but a sport organization.
I am just an average bowler and shooting 100 pins over my average is an accomplishment but not to them because they are getting rid of the 100 pin over average watch because it is not an accomplishment, pretty soon the only thing you will be able to earn are the 300, 800 and 900 awards.
They complain about all the money they spend on awards and they are the ones that opened the lanes up so everyone get bowl them.
They talk about bringing integrity back to bowling but they don't have the balls to make the PBA experience the only legal shot, I will be submitting a rule for next year to see if they back me on this or if they are just all talk about bringing integrity back.
